Original French Pinoleum blinds - the traditional and
classic choice to transform glare to create a soft, dappled
light.
Pleated blinds- contemporary, neat and versatile,
these create a comfortable environment perfect for everyday
living.
Solar R® blinds- exclusive to Appeal, these blinds
combine a high tech fabric with precision cutting to create a chic, modern look
and offer superb climate control.
Venetian blinds – the
ever-popular choice, improved by Appeal’s use of thin slats which mean privacy
can be maintained even when the slats are retracted.
Crafted out of lustrous North American cedar wood, our shutters are available
in a choice of styles as follows:
Full height shutters – simple & elegant these look
stunning on any window, instantly transforming a room.
Café style
shutters – covering the bottom half of the window, these shutters
create an unfussy, sophisticated solution to optimising natural light in a room,
while maintaining privacy.
Tier-on-Tier shutters – These are
2 sets of shutters, one on top of the other. These create the same style impact
as Full height shutters, but with more shading options.
Solid
shutters – akin to wood-panelling, these shutters add Period glamour to
any room and offer total privacy.
Practical
With the increased use of glass in
today’s homes, shading products have never been more in demand. Unlike curtains,
which need to be made bigger than the actual size of the window and which
require poles or pelmets to hang from – thereby encroaching visually and
physically into a room – shutters and blinds can be recessed into the window
frame. This creates a feeling of space in a room and is why shutters are in
demand again, being particularly effective in smaller rooms such as bathrooms.
The recessed fit also has the practical benefit of being more thermally
efficient, as there are no gaps for hot air to either enter or escape.

of our Qualified Surveyors, and then your blinds and shutters are laser cut and
hand-finished to fit your window exactly. This means that we can create blinds
and shutters for virtually any shaped window or roof pane. Then to complete the
no-fuss experience, our shutters and blinds are precision fitted by our expert
team of experienced fitters.
Eco-friendly
Our shutters are made from North
American cedar wood, which is sourced from sustainable forests in the USA and
Canada. This premium quality wood is durable, lightweight, attractive and
strong. Due to the superior properties of this wood, we are able to use a slim
louvre design with a correspondingly slim supporting strut. This contributes to
the elegant appearance of our shutters, as well as functioning practically to
allow more natural light into the room when the slats are retracted.
At Appeal we only use the best quality products. Our French Pinoleum blinds
are made from a lightweight reed which is traditionally hand-woven. The
combination of the deft weave and light reed means that we are able to use less
support wires in
these blinds, creating for you a cleaner & airier look
without any sagging and ensuring that even roof blinds remain taut. We use the
latest technology to improve our products. Exclusive to Appeal is our range of
SolarR
and Alu-Pleat blinds, which use a specially designed aluminium backed
fabric. These blinds are the most thermally efficient on the market today,
reflecting 85% of the sun’s rays in summer, while offering improved insulation
in winter. This means that you can use your conservatory all year round without
increased fuel bills.
Easy-to-use
All our blinds and shutters can be
remotely controlled for maximum convenience. Appeal’s intelligent PowerDrive™
system allows remote control operation of individual blinds or groups of blinds.
