Who goes to the show?


Anyone who is interesting in improving their home.  No matter the stage or scale of your home improvement, you will find everything you need to make the most of your home, time and money. Even the smallest cosmetic or structural changes are more cost effective when you know what’s out there.

What products and services will I find?


There will be over 300 specialist companies at the show, providing you with a chance to compare a whole range of products and services.  Including kitchens, bathrooms, heating, cooling, roofing, gardens, landscaping, plumbing and preservation, you will find everything you need to improve, update and enhance your home, under one roof!  To see who will be at the show, why not have a look at our Exhibitors page.

How do I plan my visit?


There is a lot to home improvements – which means there is a lot to do at the show! Make sure you have an idea of the products, services and theatres you’d like to see at the show.  It’s also a good idea to decide if and which experts you would like to speak with.  Each expert has fifteen minute consultations, which are bookable on site. Take a look at our Features, and explore the Show Planner to select the experts, sessions and exhibitors you would like to see.

Do I need to buy tickets for each day?


No, one ticket will grant you admission to the show for as many as the three days. However, each visitor MUST have their own ticket: buy online now to save money and hassle at the show.  Simply book your tickets, print the e-ticket and bring it to the show to obtain entry. You will also be able to buy tickets on the door.

Are the Real Homes Live! Theatres and Masterclasses useful?


Yes! They cover a whole variety of ideas and issues.  Hear from trusted Real Homes magazine experts, listen to industry leading advice and make time for the question and answer afterwards as well! All sessions are free to attend and there's no need to pre-book. Simply arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to guarantee your seat.

Do you have to book the Real Homes Live! Theatres and masterclasses beforehand?


No, there is no need to book beforehand.  However, session are very popular and do fill up very quickly, so always get there in plenty of time to claim your seat.

Can I speak with an expert on a one to one basis?


Yes –The Advice Centre features 15 minute sessions with each expert.  These sessions must be booked at the show.  These sessions are extremely popular, so if there is a particular expert you would like to speak with please do book a time slot as soon as you get to the show. You are not able to book slots before the show opens, and there is no charge for these sessions.

Where are the experts from? What do their expertise cover?


There are a whole array of experts at the show, with various specialities and differing routes of experience.  Experts in The Advice Centre are renowned industry experts from Real Homes Magazine, Period Living Magazine or Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine.  For further details, please see here.

Can I bring my children to the show?


You can indeed: under 16s are welcome in for free. We would, however, like to make you aware that these are busy shows with lots of exhibitors, lots of other visitors and a lot of things to do.  In the past some visitors have found it difficult to make the most of everything you can hear, speak and learn at the show with very small children.

How do I order tickets?


Whichever way is easiest for you! Either visit this web page, or call 0844 581 0802. Don’t forget to quote your discount code if you have one!

I am a Real Homes / Period Living / Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine subscriber - how do I claim my free tickets?


It’s easy: simply call 0844 581 0803, however you must have your subscriber number to hand.  Tickets will be sent to you in the post a week before the show. If you have not received your tickets in the post two days before the show, they will be available for collection at the show itself.
