Jennifer is a journalist of 20 years, specialising, speaking and writing in all aspects of personal finance, property and consumer issues.

Along with writing for the women’s consumer press and national newspapers, Jennifer has built up a portfolio of 10 properties with her partner in London. This has given an ongoing first hand insight into financing the buying of property, re-mortgaging regularly and finding the best value funding for different renovation makeovers.

Her passion is finding a property then sticking to a tight time frame to have it totally gutted and renovated within budget. Whilst making the most of every inch of space a property offers due to the high cost of buying in the capital. And as a long term solution to saving on energy bills Jennifer is a supporter of the latest Government Feed-in-tariff scheme.

Jennifer each month writes the Money News pages for Real Homes magazine. These pages offer practical advice on financing property renovations with case history experience from around the UK on how others have achieved their dream home.
